Home fans would gather to watch Northampton Town Football Club at the County Ground. The club moved to Sixfields Stadium in 1994 but many fans still have fond memories of the old terrace.
Artist Mark Kennedy – Born in Northampton, I have a huge passion for the town’s history and the wonderful buildings, parks and the surrounding countryside. I wanted to capture some timeless scenes from the town and county in glorious, nostalgic black and white. My Northampton illustrations are sketched using a pencil by hand, and have been digitally manipulated to produce the final image.
